Imperial Session - Trip

SPHINX SHRINERS ARE GOING TO ST. LOUIS MISSOURI
VIA AMTRAK TRAIN FOR THE 2008 IMPERIAL

JOIN THE SPHINX SHRINER’S FAMILY AS WE ATTEND THE ST. LOUIS IMPERIAL.
TRAVEL WITH US BY AMTRAK TRAIN OR MEET US THERE.

TRAVELING BY TRAIN:
WE WILL DEPART THE SHRINE CENTER ON THURSDAY, JUNE 26TH AT 3:00PM AND HEAD FOR ALBANY, NY WHERE WE WILL BOARD AN AMTRAK TRAIN AND TRAVEL TO CHICAGO AND THEN ON TO ST. LOUIS WHERE WE WILL SPEND 6 NIGHTS AND 5 DAYS ATTENDING THE IMPERIAL AND PLANNED ACTIVITIES.

FOR THOSE RETURNING HOME AFTER THE IMPERIAL, WE WILL BEGIN OUR JOURNEY HOME ON THURSDAY, JULY 3RD RETURNING TO CONNECTICUT JULY 4TH AND THEN ON A BUS TO RETURN HOME.

“RIDE SO KIDS CAN WALK” MOTORCYCLE RIDE SUNDAY, JUNE 29 7:30AM
COST: $20.00 PER RIDER
BENEFITING SHRINERS HOSPITALS FOR CHILDREN THIS RIDE BEGINS AT THE FOOT OF THE GATEWAY ARCH AND IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. OPEN REGISTRATION BEGINS AT 7:30AM AND RIDE DEPARTS AT 10:00AM. REGISTRATION IS PER RIDER AND EACH PARTICIPANT IS REQUIRED TO SIGN A RELEASE FORM IN ORDER TO RIDE.

Windsor Marriott (same as last 2 years) Off I-91 Rt 75 Exit

Friday agenda:

• Registration Friday 10 AM - 6 PM - main lobby
• Hospitality - Noon - 5:30 PM
• Buffet Dinner Friday evening - 6PM / entertainment by Sphinx Chanters

Saturday agenda:

• Saturday breakfast buffet in River City Grille - 7-9:30 AM
• Sat. morning excursion at 9:30 AM to the nearby New England Air Museum - return 12:30 pm
• Sat. lunch available until 3:00 PM
• Sat. photos in courtyard - 4:00 - 5:30 PM.
• Cocktails in main Ballroom at 5:30 PM.
• Introductions start promptly at 6:15 PM.

Sphinx Golf Tournament

Legion of Honor Guest Speaker/Dinner

Sphinx Legion of Honor is having a special Spaghetti Dinner on Monday, May 19th.  Everyone is invited to the dinner and to hear the special guest speaker - a representative from Hamilton Standard who will give a presentation on the NASA space suit used by the shuttle astronauts.

Dinner is as 6:30 at the Sphinx Shrine Center, followed immediately by the special presentation.

Installation of Officers will be on March 29, 2008 at the New Britain Masonic Temple at 2 p.m. 

Please come and bring a friend, it is an open installation.  The Sphinx Shrine Chanters will be entertaining  at this wonderful event.

Pancake Breakfast and Easter Egg Hunt

Bring the kids down to the Shrine Center for a pancake breakfast and our Annual Easter Egg Hunt for the kids!  Sphinx Funsters to be present to add to the fun of the morning!
